The Jerome Chamber of Commerce continues planning the most talked about event of the year, The Jerome Historic Home and Building Tour, celebrating its 51st year.
The Open Pit Mine will be on the tour after many years behind lock and key. This massive sight is an impressive signature location in Jerome that many have never seen. Jerome Town Hall will open its doors to the public to show the new Judges Chambers, the artist studios and the Humane Society. A beautiful craftsman style home and a home built by the mining company for workers, both on the main drag into town, will open their doors for a glimpse of early life in Jerome. The tour continues to show The Will Stone Orchard House, built in the late 70’s and offering a story of a Vietnam Vet, marijuana and untimely death.
Watch for more details in the weeks to come as the lineup of homes unfolds. See previous posts about the this year’s Jerome Home Tour for more details.
